Aero Blasters (HuCard) -

• This game is cool. The two player simultaneous is a HUGE plus. One of the better horizontally scrolling shooters I've played!
• Tips & Tricks:
• Extra Credits: During the title screen, press Right, Select, Right, Select, Right, Select.
• Sound Test: Do extra credit code, then press Select once more.
• Level Select: Do extra credit code, then press Button I: 10 times for Phase 2, 11 times for Phase 3, 12 times for Phase 4, 13 times for Phase 5, 14 times for Phase 6, then press Select, Select, Run.

Alien Crush (HuCard) -

• If I'm not mistaken, this is the first pinball game for the Turbo, and what a whopper!! Eerie alien images and fun pinball play make this a keeper!! I remember playing this in Chicago where I was first introduced to this system. Killer!!

Beyond Shadowgate (SuperCD) -

• Put your eyes back in your sockets!! THIS is an AWESOMELY detailed adventure game! All the graphics in this game are drawn by hand and rendered onto the Turbo. Beautiful graphics and stunning soundtrack, along with fun and easy to learn gameplay make this one of my favorites.

Blazing Lazers (HuCard) -

• *THE* best vertical shooter for the Turbo. Although Raiden is pretty darn good too. I absolutely fell in love with this game and played it more than any other for the longest time. You've GOT to get your hands on this one!
• Tips & Tricks:
• 30 Continues: During the title screen, hold Select and Run until "AREA 1".
• Mode Select: During the title screen (turbo switches UP), Hold Buttons I, II, and Select when mode appears, hold for 5 seconds.
• Stage Select: In sound mode (turbo switches DOWN), press Buttons I and II, then hit Select 21 times. Stages go from 00 to 09.
• Sound Mode: Hold Select, and rock Left to Right rapidly.

Bomberman (Hidden on GOT SuperCD) & Bomberman '93 (HuCard) -

• Do I really have to say anything about Bomberman? Absolutely the ULTIMATE multiplayer game. PERIOD. Five player simultaneous combustion butt kicking. Party central.

Bonk's Adventure (HuCard) -

• NEC's answer to Nintendo's Mario Brothers, Bonk is cool. Another of my all time favorite games. You gotta love a little caveman dude that hits things with his head. More fun than Mario Brothers, if you ask me! This game just also happens to be on the Gate of Thunder SuperCD too!

Bonk's Revenge (HuCard) -

• The sequel to Bonk's Adventure, our loveable caveman is at it again in an all new adventure. Just as fun as the first one with a few new twists! This game just also happens to be on the Gate of Thunder SuperCD too!

Bonk's Big Adventure (BonkIII) (HuCard) -

• Yet another (and sadly the last) addition to the Bonk games, this one brings simultaneous two player action to the table. Hilarious flowers can make Bonk HUGE or tiny too!! Just all around fun!

Boxyboy (HuCard) -

• I think this is one of the hidden cool games for the Turbo. If you're into puzzle games, this is a must have. Your little guy pushes crates around to cover up all the circles in order to continue to the next stage. I've spent many hours playing this game. Quite addicting.

Cosmic Fantasy 2 (CD) -

• Role playing games are some of my favorite to play, because they're long and involved. CF2 does a great job of filling the role. A lot of creatively drawn baddies and plenty of interaction make this a top notch RPG!

Cratermaze (HuCard) -

• I acquired this game far after the Turbo had gone into recession. I can't believe I waited that long! This game is a riot. Very simple game play, but incredibly addictive. It's just plain fun!!

Deep Blue (HuCard) -

• I HAD to say something about this game. Without a doubt, the WORST game released for the Turbo. The gameplay is slow and frustrating, which makes you want to drop the controller and play something else right off. Let's just say I'm glad I got this one for free.
• Tips & Tricks:
• Continues: Only after Scene B, instead of pressing Run, press Select twice.

Devil's Crush (HuCard) -

• This is the sequal to Alien Crush. I have to say it is a lot better than it's predecessor! Three level vertical scrolling pinball game that will knock your socks off. This one was a favorite of my friends, and we would sit in front of the TV playing it for DAYS...heheh
• Tips & Tricks:
• You can download my Devil's Crush Password Generator to get just about whatever you want for this game!
• Unlimited Balls: Enter the password AAAAAAHAAA.
• Ending Code: Enter the password DAVIDWHITE.
• Sound Mode: Pause the game, then press Select, Up, Down, Left, Right, Button I.

Double Dungeons (HuCard) -

• This was one of the few games my sister actually liked. This one and Devil's Crush. Two player simultaneous side-by-side action in this one. A nice twist to RPG games. 3-D maze action rounds this one out to a classic "must have" game!

Dragon Slayer (SuperCD) -

• This one is my second favorite RPG for the Turbo. But keep in mind, I don't own all of them *grin*. This game is LOOONG, which makes it a definate must have. There's so much to do, and so much to explore in this game I've played it countless times; and get stuck every time. This game came with a really nice fold out map of the world too. Definately cool.

Drop Off (HuCard) -

• This is a great "breakout" style game where you gotta keep the ball bouncing in the playfield to get rid of the fruit and gems. Another of the many addicting games for the Turbo. It actually has a story line too, but it doesn't seem to bother the game.

Dungeon Explorer (HuCard) -

• This is one game my girlfriend likes. She gets a kick out of a bunch of people shooting at each other. Go figure. This is a really fun game, but can get pretty hard if you're not quick on your toes. Five player simultaneous make this a good party game!!
• Tips & Tricks:
• Invincibility: Enter the password DEBDE DEBDA, then press Button I and Run, then press Button II.
• Second Ending: Use invincibility code first, then use the password AENIP BLKEE. Sit on the throne in the castle.
• Level 19 Warrior: Enter the password AEPAJ DPIAA.
• Name Change: Enter the password CHECK NAMEA.
• Weapon Control: Enter the password HOMIN GAAAA.
• Stage Select: Use invincibility code first. Enter the bushes in front of Axis castle. Final Lap Twin (HuCard) -

• This is one game I purchased early on in the life of my Turbo. This game is a blast to play alone OR with a friend. With a friend? You bet!! Two player simultaneous split screen action in this one! Not only that, but a "quest" game is playable too, where you travel all over the place racing people to get parts and money. At the end you race the bad boss and win the game! A blast!!!!! An awesome racing game!!

Galaga '90 (HuCard) -

• If I'm not mistaken, this is the second game I owned for my Turbo, the first being Keith Courage in Alpha Zones. I begged my mom to let my be this one at Toys 'R Us, because it was the cheapest one they had ($19.99). Personally, I think it's worth plenty more than a mere $20. Definately a blast to play.
• Tips & Tricks:
• Extra Weapons: From the title screen, press Up and Run.

Gate Of Thunder (SuperCD) -

• Wow. What a buy. I got this one for $100 from Turbo Zone Direct just after it was released. Worth every penny too, I'll tell ya. Gate of Thunder ROCKS!! If I'm not mistaken, it's the first CD shooter for the Turbo, and it came out with a bang. An awesome rock sound track goes along with awesome graphics and fast gameplay. Another in the "must have" series. What's even better, is this SuperCD game with Bonk's Adventure and Bonk's Revenge. Not only that, but hidden on the CD is a copy of the original Bomberman!!
• Tips & Tricks:
  • To access the hidden Bomberman game: From the game selection screen, press Up, Right, Down, Left, Button II. You should hear a chime, and the game will load!
  • Level Select: From title screen, press Buttons I, II, II, I, Select, I, II, I, II, Select, Select, Run.

It Came From The Desert (CD) -

• This is a weird one. Not your average action/adventure game. There's some of that thrown in, mind you... But it's weird. Makes you wonder what they were smoking when they released this one. Don't get me wrong though.. It's a good game!

Keith Courage in Alpha Zones (HuCard) -

• This is the game that came with the Turbo. Everyone has one of these, unless they gave it away. I happen to have around 4 or 5 of them. Don't ask me why. I'm weird that way. This really is a fun game. The characters are large and VERY colorful. It really shows off what the Turbo can do. Not a bad pack-in game.
• Tips & Tricks:
• Debug Code: Reset the game (turbo switches DOWN). While the title screen is flashing, hold Buttons I, II, and Select. when "START" appears, press Up 8 times.

King of Casino (HuCard) -

• Another game on the "must have" list. If you like gambling games, that is. I love poker, and this game is the bomb. This is another 5 player quasi-simultaneous game. I've spent many hours with friends and family racking in the dough and getting that red Ferarri. A good game to practice with before taking a trip to Vegas, that's for sure!

Klax (HuCard) -

• This is another one of those super-addictive Turbo games. It's a spin off of Tetris, where you match tiles in horizontal, vertical, or diagonal rows as they come down the conveyor belt. Keep a lot of free time open when you start this game, 'cause you might find it hard to stop!
• Tips & Tricks:
• Look At Levels: From the options screen, hold Select, and press Run. Use Up and Down to change levels.
• Sound Mode: From Look At Levels, hold Button I, and press Run.

Last Alert (CD) -

• I remember this one vividly. I got this game, and The Addams Family for my birthday one year. The same year that I was woken up with a 7.1 earthquake. Talk about a birthday gift! This is a fun shoot 'em up type game with a kickin' soundtrack. The only problem with it, is the bad acting. There's no accounting for taste I guess. Regardless of the poor dialogue, this is a fun game, and it will keep you wanting to beat the bad guys.
• Tips & Tricks:
• Visual Debug Code: Hold Select, and press Buttons I, II, I, II, Up, Down, Run. Press Button II for page 2.

Legendary Axe (HuCard) -

• For such a bloody/gloomy game, this one is pretty colorful. And pretty darn fun too! I got this game after Legendary Axe II, and was surprised to see how different it was. This is your average hack-n-slash game with all sorts of challenging baddies to get rid of. Don't let this one skip your collection!
• Tips & Tricks:
• For continues: In the "Game Over" screen, hold Button I and Select while hitting Left as many times as possible.

Legendary Axe II (HuCard) -

• Of course, the sequel to Legendary Axe, this game is a far throw from the original. The graphics are MUCH better, and far more detailed. A lot of tricky animation is used in the game too, which makes it a bit tougher to play. All in all, this is a beauty. I've played this game hundreds of times, and loved it each time!
• Tips & Tricks:
• For continues: In the "Game Over" screen, hold Button II and Run, while hitting Left as many times as possible.

Loom (SuperCD) -

• This game is also available under quite a few other platforms, including the computer. You gotta love LucasArts games. Beautiful graphics, stunning soundtrack, and unique gameplay make this a "must have".

Magical Dinosaur Tour (CD) -

• Is this NEC's attempt at educational software for the Turbo? It's full of information, and is entertaining to play with, but not exactly a game. Had to add it to the collection anyway though!

Neutopia & Neutopia II (HuCard) -

• Great HuCard RPGs!! The Neutopia series of games are a quasi-spinoff of Zelda. Loved the first one so much, I had to buy the second one. A pair of games to add to the "must have" collection.

Order of the Griffon (HuCard) -

• The first (and only?) officially licensed D&D game for the Turbo! It really is fantastic to play and gripping at that. Very well done. I can see what it was officially licensed!!

Pac-Land (HuCard) -

• Gotta love this game. All your favorite spooks from Pacman come together in a beefed up run-and-jump game. Not the best game for the Turbo, but it is VERY well done and fun to play!
• Tips & Tricks:
• Mode Select: From title screen, hold Buttons I and II. Hit Run. Press Run again to get sound test.
• Pro mode: Turn Skip on using mode select. When screen says "SKIP 1", press Up 10 times. You'll see "Pro".
• Invincibility: Turn Skip on using mode select. When screen says "SKIP 1", press Down 100 times. You'll see "NO HIT".

Prince of Persia (SuperCD) -

• Who hasn't played this game?????? I think this is the most cross-platform released game ever made! In my opinion, the Turbo version takes the cake though. At least compared to the Nintendo and Genesis versions. The Turbo version is true to life with all the blood and gore of the original masterpiece left intact. This is a classic that's a "must have".

Raiden (HuCard) -

• An outrageously fun vertical scrolling shooter. You can find this one in the arcades too! I had to have this one when it came out. I love shooters, and this one is fantastic. If you haven't played it on the Turbo, you're missing the whole picture!

Shape Shifter (SuperCD) -

• This is another fabulously drawn SuperCD game! A lot of work went into making this game absolutely stunning to the eye. The game play is good with a twist of shifting your shape! Takes a while to get used to, and isn't the easiest game out there, but it really is fun.
• Tips & Tricks:
• Ending Sequence: From the title screen, hold Buttons I and Select, and press the direction pad clockwise.

Sherlock Holmes - Consulting Detective (CD) -

• This game is a landmark in home video gaming consoles. Not only was the Turbo the first console with a CD-ROM attachment, but it was the first console to utilize full motion video (FMV) in a video game! Your job is to watch the FMV sequences and talk to the right people to find out "whodunnit". If you've got all the info you need, you can go to the judge to get a conviction! This game just made my jaw drop. They really did a fabulous job with this game; a first of a generation. Unfortunately, I don't have the sequel to this game, but I'm sure it's just as impressive.

Sim Earth (CD) -

• A great version of the SimX line of games from Maxis. The manual for this game is so thick, they used a double-CD jewel case for this one. If you like simulation games like Sim City or Sim Ant, then this is one you have to try!

Splatterhouse (HuCard) -

• Ewww.. EwwwwwwEwEWeWwwww... Pretty nasty game. Gruesome graphics and plenty of squishy body parts and guts sounds fill this game. Perfect for the horror lover in you. This game is pretty tough, for me at least. I don't think I've ever beaten the game, but I've gotten close!
• Tips & Tricks:
• Level Select Mode: Press Run. Press Select 3 times. Hold Left, and press Button I
• Hard Mode: During the title screen, hold Select. "HARD" will appear.

The Addams Family (CD) -

• I remember this game vividly, for the same reason I remember Last Alert. I love the movie theme from this game, and the music is hilarious. The graphics are great, and they did an excellent job alltogether. The gameplay is a bit odd, but once you get used to it all, you'll really have fun playing this game.
• Tips & Tricks:
• 79 Lives: In the beginning of the game while Gomez is talking about golf, press Up, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up.

Victory Run (HuCard) -

• The "other" racing game for the Turbo, this game isn't the best in the world, but it IS fun. Challenging for sure too. Especially the dirt track. Add this one to your collection, but definately get Final Lap Twin too!

World Class Baseball (HuCard) -

• I love this baseball game. The graphics are great, the gameplay is easy to learn, and it's just plain fun!! A definate must have!

World Court Tennis (HuCard) -

• I hope you've played this game. It's incredibly fun. The characters are a bit on the goofy side, but the gameplay is totally cool. Not only that, but this game has a "quest" mode, just like Final Lap Twin!! These games are great!!
• Tips & Tricks:
• Divide the screen into 4 sections: Enter the password as all of those squigly things.

Ys - Book I & II (CD) -

• Not the most graphically stunning RPG for the Turbo, but hands down the best. This game is long and involved, and leads the way for other great RPGs on CD. This is probably my all-time favorite game. I've played this so many times I can't even count it. If you don't have this game, you're missing out on a chunk of life!!

Ys - Book III (CD) -

• Much different game play than it's predecessor and great graphics make this game a "must have" to add to your collection. It's not as long as I'd like it to have been, but it's a great game to play and loads of fun.
